Christmas
Tell us about your Christmas! Ours was spent here at home. Kim and Linda came on Dec 23 (Linda's birthday) and left Christmas Day afternoon. Monroe got sick right as they were leaving and full-on had the stomach flu. Sloane and Brett joined her later that night. Eric and I never got it (knock on wood) and everyone seems to be much better now. Sloane is still congested from a cold she picked up earlier in the week which means she's barely eating (no tastebuds?) but I think she's a little better everyday. Today we went to the park so Eric could try out his new scooter and we had lots of fun. Brett has started the long process of taking the Christmas decorations down and we are excited to see Mom and Dad tomorrow. How about you?

You didn't knock on wood hard enough because I know you ended up getting sick!! :( I hope you are ALL feeling a LOT better now! Ours was great. Christmas Eve we spent being Christmas elves passing out mom's Christmas crackers, cookies, and opened some fun gifts with the Smiths! Then Mike and I saw Anchorman 2 at the theater. I brought the movie theater workers goodies and they were super suspicious but took them graciously haha. Christmas day I made us breakfast, we watched netflix in bed all day, we skyped with Cori & J & Grey and watched them open our gifts, and I made mom's "Bethlehem" dinner for us for supper, right down to the grape juice ;) It was delish. I am ready for the New Year! It is blizzarding here today. How is everyone else?! Love you guys!!!
ReplyDeletewell i tried to leave a comment from my phone but for some reason it didn't work. we had a very low key christmas and new years, just us hanging out at home. tonia and kaylea came over for christmas dinner (thanksgiving) and like cass said we skyped with them while we opened our awesome presents. it was nice! missed you guys though!! :*
