The surprise party was totally fun. I'm kind of a sucker for awards shows, and the Golden Globes is my favorite. It fell on my birthday this year so when Liza and Nika asked what I wanted for my birthday, I said I wanted to have a Golden Globes party with the two of them. You know, a black-tie affair.
Little did I know that they'd expand the invite list beyond the three of us! Next thing I knew, our best pals were arriving, all dressed up and carrying food that was both golden and round. Golden-globe food. It was great. We were all Hollywood royalty for a night.
Love those Kindred girls very much.
